Bluedays Privacy
Last updated 24 October 2026
Bluedays rebuilds your trips from the place and time of your photos. This page says what it reads, what leaves your phone, and how to delete it.
Your photos
- To rebuild a trip, Bluedays reads only where and when each photo was taken, on your phone.
- A photo leaves your phone only when you choose to:
- publish a trip: up to 8 photos of its album, resized, are public in Explore until you unpublish it;
- add it to a shared trip's album: it is seen only by the people in that trip, until you remove it or leave.
Your account
- With an account, Bluedays keeps your name, username, profile photo and sign-in email, and your trips: places, routes, dates and numbers, never the photos above unless you send them.
- The people you follow and who follow you, your likes, comments and notifications are kept so the app can show them.
- In a shared trip, the places and times of your photos on your days of the trip are shared with the trip's owner to make the track more precise.
Services Bluedays uses
- Supabase (servers in Ireland, EU) keeps your account and trips.
- OpenStreetMap services (Nominatim, OSRM, Overpass) and Open-Meteo receive places, without your name, to find town names, roads, summits and altitudes.
- Apple and Google sign you in, if you choose them. Apple Maps draws the map. Expo delivers notifications.
No ads, no tracking across apps, nothing sold.
Deleting
- Delete a trip from its ⋯ menu: it goes from your phone and your account, with its published photos.
- Delete your account from Profile → ⋯ → Delete account. Your profile, trips in the account, published photos, followers, likes, comments and shared photos are deleted. The trips on your phone stay there.
